About the Role
We are seeking a versatile IT professional who bridges the gap between System Administration and Business Analysis. In this role, you will be the driving force behind implementing, configuring, and optimizing SaaS applications for a variety of small-to-enterprise customers. While your primary domain will be Salesforce, your agility will see you rolling out Slack instances and assisting with SharePoint architecture. You won't just be doing standard admin work; you will be instructed and encouraged to leverage AI to ideate solutions, mock‐up interfaces, and deliver exceptional results.
Must haves
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Administration and configuration.
- Strong Business Analysis / client‐facing skills (comfortable running workshops).
- A high willingness to learn and use AI tools (Claude, Gemini) for daily problem‐solving.
Role and Responsibilities
- Administer and configure Salesforce environments (adding fields, custom objects, building screen flows, and setting up portals using drag‐and‐drop editors).
- Manage end‐to‐end data migrations for clients moving onto Salesforce, utilizing import tools and mapping data.
- Act as a Business Analyst: run face‐to‐face and virtual client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
- Assist in the configuration and rollout of other SaaS platforms, including Slack integrations and foundational SharePoint Intranet/Document Library setups.
- Utilize AI (Claude, Copilot, etc.) daily to generate concepts, test ideas, write basic configurations, and speed up delivery times.
- Collaborate closely with internal Project Managers and Developers, communicating client needs effectively.
- Configure Service Cloud Voice and perform lightweight Amazon Web Services (AWS) wizard‐based setups.
- Proactively research and figure out on‐the‐fly SaaS configurations to ensure project success.
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, SaaS Implementation Consultant, or IT Business Analyst preferably with a developer mindset/background.
- Strong hands‐on experience navigating the backend of Salesforce (setting up menus, user access, custom classes, and portals).
- Demonstrated ability to sit with clients, ask the right questions, and guide them through technical concepts without overwhelming them.
- A strong appetite for Artificial Intelligence; you must be willing to learn and iterate using AI rather than relying solely on traditional methods.
- Broad understanding of the broader SaaS ecosystem and the ability to intuitively navigate new software interfaces (e.g., Slack, Microsoft 365/SharePoint).
- Ability to work autonomously on small projects while knowing when to lean on the broader engineering team for support.
- Relevant SaaS or Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) are highly regarded but not mandatory if you have the right practical experience.
