Dara Switchboards is seeking experienced Electrical Fitters (x4) to join our team in Mulgrave, Victoria. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing of our high-quality electrical switchboards.
What you'll be doing
* Performing modular switchboard assembly, electrical fitting, and wiring of switchboard components
* Interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics to complete wiring (Power and control cabling )tasks accurately
* Fabricating copper bus bars
* Conducting quality checks on switchboard assemblies before passing on to final testing
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to support efficient and safe operations
* Collaborating with the production and engineering team to identify and resolve any technical issues
* Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members when required
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in electrical fittings, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical/Electronic Trade or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Fitter, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of electrical principles, installation techniques, and safety procedures
* Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams, schematics, and product installation manuals
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork skills
