The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
**Description**
The HSE Manager Operations' role is to provide leadership, guidance and management of safety systems to support compliance with WHS and Environment requirements at our clients operational sites.
The HSE Manager - Operations will work closely with Site Managers, Owner's Representatives, and O&M contractors to ensure that safety processes meet our obligations and standards for safe and sustainable operations.
**Skills**
- Understanding of WHS and Environment legislation.
- Ability to implement and drive a high performance HSE culture.
- A firm grounding in asset management and energy generation practices.
- Knowledge of HSE systems and compliance management plans.
- Ability to prioritise workload and commitments and work to tight deadlines.
- High level of IT literacy including advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Ability to problem solve and effectively resolve issues that may arise with contractors, stakeholders or others.
- Strong communication, cooperation, consultation and organisation skills required.
- Ability to produce and present concise HSE reports including progress reports, incident reports and quarterly reports.
- HSE training is desirable including investigation methodology, construction induction (white card), first aid and emergency first response training.
**Required qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications (degree and/or higher qualifications in a relevant
field).
**Other**
- Travel to operational sites as required and the Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne offices for stakeholder relations and negotiations and risk assessments.
- Driver's license is required.
