Expressions of interest are sought for an Assistant Parliamentary Counsel 2 temporary vacancy in the Parliamentary Counsel's Office. This role is available for a period of six months.
The primary role of an Assistant Parliamentary Counsel is to draft legislation for Government and private members of the Legislative Assembly and provide related legislative advice. Drafters at the Assistant Parliamentary Counsel 2 level are expected to be able to draft complex legislation, manage drafting projects and review the work of other drafters.

**Eligibility/other requirements**:Admission to practice as a legal practitioner of the ACT Supreme Court, the High Court, or the Supreme Court of a State or another Territory is required.
