About The Role
As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you'll play a key role in providing customers with a seamless banking experience. You'll meet each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, engage in needs-based conversations, and educate them on the financial solutions available, including digital. You'll have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, conduct in-depth needs-based conversations, and fulfil products as per your accreditation level. This role is based mainly in branches and will deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring customers are not only satisfied but strong advocates for ANZ.
Part of a collaborative team, you will also act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience. You will be passionate about delivering on our Customer Promises and ensuring customers leave the branch as strong advocates of ANZ. Banking is changing and we're changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to learn and grow.

Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (30 min break) – 7.5 hours

What will your day look like?
Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective.
Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.
What will you bring?
Exceptional customer focus – retail experience is an advantage.
Experience in being a user and promoter of technology – working knowledge of different digital channels is an advantage.
Ability to multi-task and be highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
Sound understanding of compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
