About The Job
Reporting to the General Manager, the Program Manager is responsible for leading multiple Employment Service Areas across the Inclusive Employment Australia program in Central Western Sydney, Outer Western Sydney and Northern Sydney regions. Your team, made up of Area Managers, Recruitment Partner, Claims Coordinator and Activity Management Officer will look to you to provide clear direction and support that will allow us to achieve a high level of performance.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
* Provide strong and effective leadership to cultivate a highly effective and participant centric culture aligned with The Salvation Army values and mission
* Contribute to national projects which build resources processes and new capability to strengthen the service
* Lead the successful execution of the Inclusive Employment Australia program across multiple Employment Services Areas, working closely with colleagues including the General Manager and other Program Managers
* Support, develop, and mentor program staff to thrive in their roles, building capability and meeting or exceeding performance expectations
* Lead with a supportive and empowering style enabling all team members to develop skills, capability and career satisfaction within a framework of clear accountability and disciplined management routines to drive service excellence
* Ensure achievement of KPI's and other performance metrics set out in strategic and operational plans
* Establish and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and external partners, such as other Salvation Army services, community services organisations, employers and employer representative organisations and government bodies
* Ensure compliance with National Standards for Disability, ISO accreditation and other requirements through regular audits and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
* Values driven experienced leader committed to improving the lives of those whom we serve and creating a culture and environment for all team members to contribute to the best of their abilities
* Experience in leading and managing high-performing teams, across large geographic areas, with a focus on continuous improvement and cultural change
* Proven experience in employment services or another directly related social service field
* Track record in delivering high quality services and achieving KPI's and other program metrics to a high standard
* Strong understanding of delivering high-quality, participant-centred programs
* Detailed knowledge of Inclusive Employment Australia guidelines and their application
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Employment Plus effectively with external stakeholders, including government and industry bodies, and advocate for the program
* Competent working knowledge of workplace health and safety, quality assurance frameworks, financial management practices, marketing, strategy, business plan development, and tendering
* Must hold a Driver's license as travel throughout the region will be required
