The Package: $107, $119,029.04 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 16 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).

In this role you will:
* Shape the future of Queanbeyan-Palerang by leading critical projects that drive the development of our natural and urban environment through your handling of a variety of diverse development applications.
* Deliver expert technical advice and mentorship to colleagues, driving innovation in QPRC's development assessment processes and bolstering the success of our award-winning team.
* Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including multi-dwelling developments, urban release areas, and unique heritage work that preserves and enhances our region's rich character.
We are looking for someone who:
* Possesses a tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
* Has experience with heritage assessments and knowledge of the NSW Heritage Act.
* Has demonstrated experience working on complex planning issues within NSW local government and experience with the NSW Planning Portal.
* Has the ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with stakeholders.
