The Mission: What You'll Be Driving
We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Head of Sales in Sydney, New South Wales, to drive our client's growth in the region.
Your mission is to take full control, balancing strategy with execution.
Own the Number: Total accountability for the Australia revenue figure across both direct and channel sales.
Scale and Coach: Lead, coach, and hold accountable direct and channel teams to consistently drive activity, pipeline, and hit performance metrics.
Forecasting Precision: Run a disciplined regional sales cadence and maintain accurate forecasts to ensure clear visibility on performance.
Deep Channel Focus: Build and strengthen high-value relationships with key channel partners, dealers, and strategic accounts to rapidly expand market share.
Operational Agility: Act as the critical bridge between sales and local operations, ensuring seamless execution across marketing, logistics, and finance.
Set the Culture: Be the architect of a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative regional culture, aligned with the global company's values.
Voice of APAC: Provide direct insights and feedback from the Australian market to influence the global brand's product, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
Your Profile: Are You Ready?
We need a leader who is comfortable balancing strategy with rolling up their sleeves in the field.
You thrive on fast decisions and adapting quickly.
Experience Jump: 4-7 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 2 years leading regional or national teams in a high-growth environment.
Proven Closer: Demonstrated track record of consistently delivering revenue targets across both direct and channel sales models.
Channel Management: Hands-on experience managing, developing, and inspiring channel partners, strategic accounts, and sales teams.
Strategic Mindset: Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate dynamic market insights into actionable go-to-market strategies.
Scale-Up Fit: A high-energy, adaptable leader who thrives in fast-paced, scale-up settings.
Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with executives and cross-functional teams.
