Responsibilities
• Surgical Billing: Accurately process Medicare and private health fund claims.
• Patient Liaison: Answer calls, schedule appointments, and deliver exceptional service to patients.
• Financial Duties: Reconcile daily takings and handle banking.
• Records & Compliance: Maintain confidential patient files and support Medicare and health fund processes.
• Debtor Management: Follow up on outstanding payments promptly.
• Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with clinicians, labs, hospitals and GPs to keep things running smoothly.
Your Profile
• Prior experience in Administration (but your attitude counts too).
• Familiarity with Genie or other medical software is a plus (training provided).
• A keen eye for detail, excellent organisation and multitasking skills.
• A collaborative mindset and warm, professional approach to patient care.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt when things change.
