Food and Beverage Supervisors @ Melbourne Airport

We are a subsidiary of the Dubai based ELR/MMI group owners and operators of over 300 restaurants, cafes and bars across Asia, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand. We are also part of the broader high-profile Emirates Group.
THIS ROLE/LOCATION
Working across two different shift patterns as below:
Overnight: 8:00pm - 4:00am
Applicants must be available across a 7-day rotating roster, including public holidays.
We are currently in search of passionate and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisors to join our team based at Hudson's Cafe Melbourne Airport.
The ideal candidate should have a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service and be able to inspire and motivate the team to consistently deliver outstanding service. They are capable of leading by example and setting high standards of professionalism and work ethic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)
* Live, breathe and deliver our company values out to your team members
* Serve our valued customers with enthusiasm
* Reacts to service barriers to ensure smooth & efficient service
* Monitor and train on guest service to maintain high standards
* Provide training to the team on how to maximise sales through average check growth (ATV)
* Manages roster and absenteeism when manager is not on shift
* Ensures all tools and procedures are used/followed at all times to ensure consistent quality, and that team members are aware of these processes and trained accordingly
* Implement and monitor continuous improvement systems and processes
* Maintains store cleanliness standards including completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the café/restaurant industry
* Able to train and supervise Front of House team members
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
* A passion for great guest service
* A keen focus on processes and compliance & ensuring quality every time
* Ability to work on 7 days rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
