About the Role
The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality
educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to
students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy
services to industry/community clients.

and have substantial industry currency and experience within a
horticulture or related industry.

The successful applicant will have: Minimum 5 years of relevant industry and/or teaching experience in Horticulture.
Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture or related field qualifications.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 or TAE40122 or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
High level of current technical expertise in Horticulture or a relevant discipline area.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant must provide evidence of a valid DHS
Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing employment.
Applicants who do not currently hold a WWCC will be required to
apply through the Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
Incumbent will be required to participate in the Department's performance Development Program.
A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
