About the Role
Reporting to the Program Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple care sites, ensuring safe, effective, and contract-compliant service delivery.
You will lead the delivery of clinically governed, trauma-informed, and culturally safe environments, supporting individuals through transition, recovery, and community-based care pathways.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites
* Optimise workflows, staffing coordination, and escalation pathways
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery
Clinical Governance
* Ensure care delivery aligns with subacute and transition-focused service models
* Maintain risk management, incident reporting, and documentation standards
* Collaborate with healthcare providers, allied health, and external stakeholders
Workforce & Rostering
* Lead workforce planning, rostering, and staffing optimisation
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance of multidisciplinary teams
* Ensure appropriate skill mix and coverage across all sites
Reporting & Compliance
* Deliver accurate and timely operational and performance reporting
* Maintain compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards
* Ensure audit readiness and documentation integrity
Quality, Safety & Risk
* Lead incident management, investigations, and improvement actions
* Oversee infection control and safety frameworks
* Monitor and respond to operational and clinical risks
Consumer Experience & Cultural Safety
* Champion person-centred, trauma-informed practice
* Promote culturally safe and inclusive service delivery
* Ensure dignity, privacy, and respectful communication
Financial & Resource Management
* Manage budgets, resources, and service logistics
* Oversee procurement in line with organisational guidelines
About You
You are a capable and confident leader with experience in complex service environments. You bring a strong understanding of clinical governance, operational management, and workforce leadership, with the ability to deliver outcomes across multiple sites.
You will have:
* Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare, disability, aged care, or community services
* Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks
* Experience managing large, multi-site teams and rosters
* Proven ability to lead quality improvement and risk management initiatives
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills
A clinical background (e.g., Nursing or Allied Health) is desirable but not essential.
