Manufacturing Work Opportunity
We are currently seeking reliable and energetic workers to assist with processing and packaging food products in a fast-paced environment. The position offers the opportunity to learn new skills and gain knowledge of the food manufacturing industry.
The job involves operating machinery, preparing ingredients, mixing ingredients, manual handling up to 25kg, labelling and packaging, and general cleaning of production and packing rooms.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Operating machinery efficiently and safely
2. Preparing ingredients according to established recipes
3. Mixing ingredients as required for production
4. Manual handling of goods up to 25kg
5. Labelling and packaging of finished products
6. Cleaning of production and packing rooms
Physical fitness is essential due to the manual handling requirements of the role. Additionally, the ability to adhere to strict safety standards is crucial. Reliability is key, with a weekly roster provided, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential. Attention to detail and the ability to complete repetitive work are also necessary.
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is desirable but not essential. However, it is preferred that applicants have previous experience in a similar role.
This is a casual or permanent position, with the potential for temp to perm conversion. The salary range is $26.73 - $31.58 per hour.
Working hours will involve afternoon shifts, day shifts, Monday to Friday, overtime, rotating roster, and weekend availability. Supplemental pay types include overtime pay.
