What areas can you work in?
* STRAS unit—20-bed facility for temporary care for patients awaiting aged care placement; multidisciplinary approach to personalised care and transitions.
* Acute Medical Services—short-term urgent care with multidisciplinary team coordination.
* Palliative Care—patient-centred support for life-limiting illness with pain and symptom management.
* Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Services—specialised rehabilitation to regain independence; multidisciplinary team.
* Surgical Services—planned and emergency procedures, inpatient and day surgery options.
The location: Belmont Hospital offers education support, open spaces, and opportunities to serve the Lake Macquarie community across a range of specialties including 24-hour emergency care, adult acute care, general surgery and medicine, day surgery, sub-acute and aged care, and palliative care. Belmont is located at the northern end of Lake Macquarie, with nearby beaches, parks, and access to major cities via Newcastle airport.

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
