Our Team
We're seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in North Queensland, based in either Townsville or Cairns. Reporting to the Section Leader of Tunnel and Ground Engineering (TGE), this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to major Transport, Water, and Power projects while fostering a culture of inclusivity and care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct field investigations to analyse soil and rock properties
* Interpret geotechnical data to determine their behaviour under various conditions
* Perform advanced soil and rock mechanics analyses
* Develop detailed design recommendations for structures, slopes and ground-related challenges

* Relevant engineering qualification
* Background in geotechnical engineering, with experience in a variety of ground conditions and project types
* Excellent communication skills
