Supply Chain Management Overview
This role oversees the end-to-end supply chain, from supplier qualification and contract management to inventory control and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
* Qualify global suppliers by evaluating their capacity, quality, and reliability. Negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Conduct regular technical assessments and audits to ensure suppliers meet performance targets, including cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
Develop accurate demand forecasts, manage lead times, and optimize stock levels to minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Analyze and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-source dependencies and trade compliance issues.
Implement efficient receiving, storage, and handling processes, and oversee 3PL operations to ensure seamless logistics execution.
Partner with engineering and commercial teams to align supply chain planning with product development and customer requirements.
