About the Metro North - Intellectual, Developmental Disability Mental Health Service (IDDMHS)
The IDD mental health team is a new, specialist, community-based mental health service. We provide assessment, support, education, and training to Metro North mental health treating teams, consumers, families/carers and advanced healthcare to young people and adults with complex neurodevelopmental conditions and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Apply specialised knowledge and evidence based clinical management principles of cognitive, developmental, neurological, psychiatric and sensory disabilities for consumers across the lifespan.
* Deliver senior level psychological or neuropsychological assessment, formulation and brief intervention/positive behaviour support planning.
* Provide expert guidance to service planning and lead implementation of evidence-based reviews to design best practice.
* Contribute to clinical governance and professional competence, providing senior level training and supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A tertiary degree in Psychology
* AHPRA Registration
* Drivers Licence
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (MNH will cover cost)
