At Clue, we’ve been shaping the eCommerce and digital marketing space for over 28 years. We partner with a wide range of clients across retail, fashion, health and beauty, professional services, and not-for-profits. As a small, agile team with a startup-style atmosphere, we’re looking for a highly experienced, detail-oriented Senior Performance Marketing Specialist who thrives on data, understands how to scale campaigns, and loves the fast pace of both eCommerce and lead generation.
We need someone with extensive experience managing performance campaigns across Meta, Google, and ideally TikTok. You must be comfortable leading strategy, driving growth, scaling accounts, and owning performance outcomes across multiple clients.
Our clients have a wide range of budgets. Some accounts run $1,500–$5,000 per month, while others scale to $50,000–$100,000+ in monthly ad spend, requiring disciplined optimisation and a strong handle on ROAS, CAC, CPA, and MER.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, launch, optimise, and scale
- Own the full campaign lifecycle across Meta, Google, and TikTok: setup, optimisation, scaling, reporting, and consulting.
- Develop and run structured creative and audience testing frameworks (hooks, angles, formats, UGC, motion, video variations).
- Define and test audience segments, placements, and creative angles to maximise return on investment.
- Brief designers on ad concepts, hooks, motion ideas, and creative formats.
Performance & Growth
- Manage multiple client accounts and deliver month-on-month improvements across ROAS, CAC, CPA, MER, and revenue.
- Review and guide UGC, influencer content, and partnership creatives.
- Identify recent opportunities, scaling pathways, and improvements across paid media channels.
- Stay on top of the latest developments, trends, and platform changes across Meta, Google, and TikTok and share this with the team.
- Contribute to marketing strategy, planning, and channel expansion discussions.
Technical & Tracking
- Set up and troubleshoot Meta Pixel, Conversions API, server-side tracking, and attribution.
- Build tracking setups in GA4 and Tag Manager and integrate with CRM systems when required.
- Use advanced attribution tools such as Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros, or similar.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare accurate monthly performance reports with insights, findings, and next steps.
- Build dashboards in Looker Studio or AgencyAnalytics.
- Present performance, recommendations, and strategy directly to clients.
Internal Contribution
- Write short articles or updates for the Clue blog on platform changes, performance insights, or emerging trends.
- Assist in improving internal systems, processes, and performance quality across the department.
- Support junior team members and help lift the overall capability of the team.
What You Need
- Minimum 3–4+ years’ experience in a similar role within a digital agency or eCommerce/DTC performance environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling Meta, Google, and/or TikTok campaigns.
- Deep understanding of paid media funnels and performance optimisation.
- Strong technical capability across tracking, attribution, debugging, and analytics.
- Highly detailed, analytical, and organised with the ability to juggle multiple accounts.
- A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and doesn’t need micro-management.
- Excellent communicator who can clearly explain strategy and results to clients.
- Strong creative understanding, especially motion and video-led testing.

- This is an in-person role based at our South Perth offices.
- While we offer occasional flexibility, this is not a remote position.
