The OpportunityReporting to experienced senior staff, you will be responsible for providing a range of core accounting and tax services for a variety of entities.
This is a hands-on role that gives you great exposure to client relationships and tax advisory work.Key responsibilities include:Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and Business Activity Statements (BAS) for various entity types.Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other regulatory bodies.Providing tax effective outcomes under supervision, including exposure to tax planning.Supporting senior staff with ongoing client engagements.Your ProfileThis is a key role for a highly organised, professional, and client-focused accountant.You will bring:A degree in Accounting.A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Australian Public Practice (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to prepare full accounts to the review stage.Strong verbal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.Experience with Xero (highly regarded).
