The Role
Toll People are seeking motivated and reliable Electric Pallet Rider Operators to join a new contract based at our Kemps Creek warehouse.
No licence is required to operate an Electric Pallet Rider - all successful applicants will complete a simple on-site induction. Prior experience operating a rider is preferred but not essential, and training will be provided for the right candidates.
These roles are scheduled to commence early January 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate pallet rider to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols and speed limits in designated areas.
- Assist in loading/unloading goods from trucks or staging areas.
- Retrieve products from storage locations based on pick lists.
- Ensure accuracy in quantity and product type during picking.
- Scan and record product movements using scanners.
- Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly.
- Keep aisles clear of obstructions.
- Adhere to company policies for handling goods and safety.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Skills & Experience
- Experience preferred on the electric pallet rider but not madatory
- Robust knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- High attention to detail and good numeracy skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to undertake manual handling and ground-level tasks as required
