The Business: Offering a quality bistro menu this is a great role for a passionate Sous chef. The venue itself is medium sized with an upscale clientele. The Role: Overseeing a team of 5 chefs in conjunction with the Head Chef, this role is suited to someone who is looking to work in a good cultured kitchen and is able to support and lead, you will need to be an organised and calm individual to ensure a consistent service. Ideally, your skills will include: Previous experience in a Sous chef position in either pub or restaurant a la carte Are a passionate chef that will lead a team and ensure that quality and consistency are the focus Strong with all aspects of the operational side and good knowledge of reporting and working to budgets A management style that is both respectful and determined and are able to build a positive working environment Benefits of this role are a balanced roster of 38-40 hours a week, work under an experienced Head Chef that fosters a positive environment and be a part of an established venue that respects their team.
