Role 
As a Cardiac Radiographer within the Cath Lab, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will: 
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment 
Be responsible for operating advanced fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging equipment to support procedures such as coronary angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, structural heart interventions, and vascular studies 
Ensure the delivery of precise, real-time imaging to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons in decision-making and patient care 
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, clinical governance, and quality assurance standards 
Provide patient preparation and support, image acquisition and archiving, and equipment troubleshooting 
Demonstrate strong technical proficiency, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively under pressure 
Qualifications & Experience 
Bachelor of Applied Science - Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent 
Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner 
2+ years experience as a Radiographer 
Prior Cath Lab, vascular or interventional radiology experience is highly valued; training opportunities may be available for motivated candidates 
Knowledge of interventional radiography, particularly cardiac, vascular and pain 
Licence to use irradiating apparatus 
Experience using Siemens and/or Philips equipment 
Ability to work flexible hours on an on-call roster 
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital infection control requirements
