Shadforth is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced WHSE professional to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, contributing to one of Queensland's largest residential developments – delivering approximately 20,000 lots.
Reporting to the Regional WHSE Manager, you'll work closely with Project Site Teams to drive strong health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes across civil construction projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll be visible on site, building relationships and influencing positive safety behaviours.
About The Role
You will:
Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHSE policies and procedures
Support continuous improvement of WHSE systems and programs
Provide practical guidance and coaching on safe work practices
Build collaborative relationships to promote a strong safety culture
Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
Help plan and schedule site safety programs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven WHSE experience within civil construction projects
Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of relevant WHSE legislation and industry best practice
Confidence leading toolbox talks and small group WHSE communications
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
You are proactive, approachable and confident working closely with site teams to influence safe behaviours and achieve practical safety outcomes.
