Key Payroll Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate records.

* 3-4 years of prior payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
* Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and employment laws
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
* Experience with Keypay/ Employment Hero payroll systems or similar software
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities include:
* Processing salary variations, new commencements, manual payments, terminations, leave, adjustments, backpays, and redundancy pays
* Managing fortnightly payroll processes for approximately 800 employees
* Preparing weekly termination pay runs and ad-hoc requests
* Maintaining and updating employee records across all platforms
* Ensuring compliance with statutory payments, superannuation, payroll tax, worker's compensation insurance, and PAYG submissions
* Developing and assisting with payroll process and system improvement initiatives
* Interpreting Awards and resolving payroll-related queries
