Overview
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time or Part Time appointments of up to 12 months, with the possibility for extension(s), commencing in 2026. We are seeking applicants for Regional Pharmacist positions who are interested in developing their hospital pharmacy skills in country WA. Applicants filling these positions have the potential to enrol in the Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha, formerly The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia) Resident Training Program, dependent on site capacity. The Resident Training Program is an accredited 2-year training program for pharmacists early in their hospital career or transitioning into hospital pharmacy practice. Position locations
There are P1 Pharmacist positions at the following locations: Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, Port Hedland/Karratha, Kalgoorlie and Northam/Narrogin. Offers at the various sites depend on vacancies at the time. Accommodation support may be available for pharmacists in some locations.

Early career pharmacists and pharmacists without hospital pharmacy experience are welcome to apply, including provisionally registered Ahpra pharmacists anticipating general registration in early 2026. A contract of employment may be offered only once evidence of general registration is provided. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2026. WA Health policies require criminal records screening and integrity checks as part of the appointment process. Referees may be asked to comment on an applicant's integrity and past ethical behaviour. This vacancy is subject to a Western Australian Working With Children (WWC) Check. For information, see the WWC website. This recruitment process requires satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA). Any offer of employment is conditional on satisfactory PEHA.
