We are a GP practice based in the new developing and thriving Werribee area, looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and caring Registered Nurse to join our expanding team. Alfred Road Medical Centre has 7 doctors, experienced registered nurses, allied health, pathology and soon to be pharmacy onsite.
The Role:
You will be working approximately 3-4 days a week with the potential of transitioning into permanent. The shifts available are between 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Our registered nurses provide support to our doctors and give our patients the best outcomes possible. You will enjoy a varied role including:
Wound management and dressings
Provide assistance with minor surgical procedures
Triaging of patients
Maintain the practice register for recalls, reminders and follow up of test results
Administer immunisations as directed by the GP
Provide assistance with health assessments and chronic disease management activities
Assisting doctors in delivering medical service
