As a District Mechanical Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical tasks associated with the maintenance and servicing of fleet assets. This includes undertaking preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and approved modifications to ensure relevant safety standards and CFA maintenance procedures are adhered to.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Motor Mechanic Qualification

* Heavy Rigid Driver Licence (or ability to obtain within time frames set by CFA)

* First Aid L2 qualification (or ability to obtain within time frames set by CFA)

* Proven ability to work as part of a team and actively participate in team discussions

* Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing

* Ability to maintain a safe work environment

* Proactive and energetic attitude with initiative to seek tasks and challenges
