Job Details
* Monday to Thursday 7am – 3:30pm (30 mins lunch) & Friday 7am – 1pm (no lunch)
* Hourly rate: $41/hr + Super
* Immediate start for the right person
About the Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Storeperson / Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the receipting and dispatch of parts in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures. The role includes arranging transport and preparing all required documentation for both local and international shipments.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Receive incoming goods, check for damage, and verify against purchase orders and invoices.
* Unload and load containers and vehicles for both inbound and outbound shipments.
* Accurately receipt all parts into Navision and ensure system data integrity.
* Label goods clearly with storage location details.
* Place goods into correct storage locations in the warehouse.
* Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing goods as required.
* Ensure all dispatch paperwork (e.g., sales orders, transfer orders) is completed accurately and promptly.
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company policy.
* Use manual or electronically guided picking equipment to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
* Assist with monthly cycle counts and annual stocktake activities.
* Conduct regular stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Warehousing or equivalent qualification.
* Must have current LF Forklift licence
* Experience operating an overhead crane (preferred).
* Must be an Australian resident
* Min 3 years of proven experience in warehouse or logistics environment
* Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety and reliability in meeting daily operational targets
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25 kgs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
