Executive Assistant to Deputy CEO Business, Growth and Community

The Position This position will coordinate and oversee the Business, Growth and Community Administration Team, providing high level executive and administration support to the Deputy CEO and the Directorate.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Provide high level executive assistance to the Deputy CEO including independent problem solving and management of arising issues, document preparation, diary and meeting management, responding to telephone and email enquiries, travel arrangements and administration support.
* Ensure the Deputy CEO's time and priorities are proactively managed, including time-critical or high-risk matters.
* Proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues.i
* Maintain a high level of confidentiality, exercising discretion and sound judgement when managing sensitive information and correspondence.
* Liaise with relevant government departments and offices of elected officials (eg, Ministers and Mayors) regarding key issues.
* Assist with arrangements for visiting delegates.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent, relevant work experience.
* Experience coordinating high level executive support services within a diverse organisation.
Hours
* Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
* This position will involve work outside normal working hours. Additional hours over the standard 35 hours will attract a time in lieu arrangement or payment of overtime rates as agreed in advance with your supervisor.
