Our client is a leading provider of transport maintenance services across Australia. Due to new contracts, we are seeking skilled Locomotive Maintainers based in Newcastle. The successful candidates will be provided with an initial 2 - 4 week training period on day shift, with the potential for day, afternoon and night shift thereafter.
What's Involved:
Perform scheduled maintenance, fault finding and troubleshooting on Locomotives
Collaborating as part of a dynamic team
Diagnostics, inspections and interpreting technical drawings
What We're Looking For:
Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or Electrician
Must have proven experience in a maintenance environment - rolling stock preferred
Rail and Locomotive experience desirable
Manual Lathe experience highly regarded
Overhead Crane and Forklift ticket desirable
Strong teamwork and communication skills
What We Offer You:
$61 - $62 / hour - Casual rate
Day shift, afternoon and night shift available with penalties
6 month project with the potential to go Permanent
