Governed by a Board of Directors, RANZCP operates with a dedicated team and numerous committees, maintaining strong relationships with governments and key stakeholders across both countries.
Reporting to the CEO and supporting both the President and President-elect, the Director is responsible for ensuring efficient operations, fostering cross-organisational communication and collaboration, and overseeing the administration of the CEO and President's activities.
Key duties include managing internal and external communications and public affairs, coordinating stakeholder engagement, supporting the President in external meetings, overseeing special projects and strategic initiatives, aiding in the development of performance metrics, and researching new business opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will bring substantial experience in a similar role within a member-based or for-purpose organisation, with a proven ability to build influential networks and foster effective relationships across diverse stakeholders, including Boards and executive teams.
You will have demonstrated success navigating change, possess relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, and excel in engaging culturally and geographically diverse groups.
You are known for your strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills, along with your track record in managing high-stakes communications and stakeholder risks.
Ideally you will be familiar with educational institutions, experience handling complex issues in remote work settings, and leading strategic and crisis communications.
