About the Role:
As a legal support officer, you will play a crucial role in the legal process by providing essential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include
Assisting in the preparation of prosecution briefs for trial and sentencing.
Obtaining additional statements from witnesses and ordering criminal history checks.
Liaising with police officers, legal practitioners, and court staff.
Managing court-related filing and maintaining accurate records.
Preparing and arranging the service of subpoenas.
Providing sensitive information to victims and other witnesses.
Undertaking circuits of up to three weeks duration as required.
