As part of the Funded Kindergarten for 3- and 4-Year-Olds, we are seeking dedicated Diploma qualified Educators and Early Childhood Teachers to join welcoming community kindergartens and early learning centres.
These roles offer meaningful work in regional communities, attractive financial incentives, and the chance to make a real impact in children's lives.
Locations: Across the Wimmera and surrounding regional areas.
Relocation Incentives: Tier 1 ($9,000) for Educators, Tier 2 ($21,000) for Teachers - available in 2026.
About the Roles:
Early Childhood Teachers
As a Bachelor-qualified teacher, you will lead high-quality kindergarten programs, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to positive educational outcomes. You'll work collaboratively with a passionate team, guided by the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
Educators
As a Diploma-qualified Educator, you'll support program delivery, foster inclusive and engaging learning environments, and build nurturing relationships with children aged 3-5 years. Your role will be key in supporting high-quality practice and children's development.

Requirements
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a similar Early Childhood Teaching or Educator role
- Proven ability to model positive and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children
- Good understanding of how young children learn and develop, including different learning styles
- Strong knowledge of current curriculum approaches and approved early childhood frameworks
- Able to plan, write, and deliver appropriate education programs for kindergarten-aged children
- Skilled at building respectful, meaningful relationships with children and meeting their needs.
- Can plan, manage time, and work independently
- Strong communication, leadership, and people skills, with the ability to work well with children, families, and professionals
- Works well as part of a team in a flexible, respectful, and skilled way
- Strong documentation and written communication skills
Early Childhood Teachers:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- VIT Registration
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma training
Educators:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- WWCC (Employee) and First Aid qualifications
