**Commercial Lead - Flow Path Optimisation

**What you'll do**
This role will have a particular focus on how Big W collaborates with our Supply Partners to build trusted operational relationships. Key deliverables will include how we bring our products into our value chain via the most optimal flow paths.
- Manage the supplier and commercial negotiations on behalf of category teams while partnering with Replenishment and Primary Connect(Supply Chain)
- Partner with the Delivery Lead to ensure a roadmap for delivery is in place and endorsed, this is updated and relevant support gained to ensure key deliverables are met
- Lead all communication to suppliers and across BIG W, collaborating with the comms team and various stakeholders.
- Partner with the Heads of Commercial to align on approach for the suppliers and escalate for support as required Ensuring products are on the optimal flow paths and where required achieving suitable warehouse allowances and freight cost recovery
**What you'll bring**
A functional understanding of business processes and systems landscape, particularly in a retail value chain.
- Extensive experience working across commercial and supplier initiatives, preferably with exposure to large and complex retail/general merchandise organisations
- Demonstrable ability to engage internal & external parties to deliver outstanding results while maintain key partnerships
- Meticulous engagement, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience leading agile teams and squads, with a proven track record of delivering positive end to end business outcome Clear understanding of the strategic direction for your team with the buy-in of the wider business.
