MD Tradeworks is a growing Melbourne-based trade services company specialising in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services across residential and commercial sectors. We are seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our head office team in Deer Park.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, office-based role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions, payroll, invoicing, and financial administration. You will work closely with operations and management to support accurate and timely financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and receivable
* Preparing and issuing invoices and quotes
* Managing payroll (weekly/fortnightly)
* Bank reconciliations
* Working daily in Xero
* Managing supplier payments and customer accounts
* Assisting with BAS, reporting, and general accounts administration
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts or finance role
* Strong working knowledge of Xero
* Experience with quoting, invoicing, and payroll
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment
* Experience in trade, construction, or services industry preferred
