We require an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant who is able to handle the collecting and maintaining the of A/R for 2- 3 days a week (flexible). The Company Our clients are a Law Firm in Prahran. They have created one of Australia’s leading Boutique Law firms in the heart pf Prahran. This permanent part-time role is located in Prahran and they are looking forward to welcoming a positive individual who is able to bring new energy and passion to the position. The suitable candidate must have excellent communication skills and must be a driven, process and systems savvy person who operates at a high level of performance. Responsibilities: Data entry of accounts receivable transactions Deal with customer telephone queries on accounts Prepare and send out monthly customer statements Follow up debts via overdue letters/telephone and organize debt collections/recovery Liaison with the Collections Agency in terms of their collections and queries. Manage their database in terms of pausing invoices/ credit notes/ Debtor pausing/ Credits to clients and liaise with the Admin Team in all respects. Ensure all Debtor correspondence is electronically filed. Revenue, import and upload year end - recon, schedules, bad debts, marketing fund audit Attend to daily emails. This position offers variety, ownership and responsibility for someone who is looking to be valued and appreciated for their contribution. They will work together within a warm and cohesive team. You will be trained in the current process and systems and will also be supported by their existing team to ensure you get consistent and scalable results.
