As demand for solar and battery systems continues to grow, Solahart Central Coast are looking for a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our NSW solar installation team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in the renewable energy industry while working alongside qualified electricians and accredited solar installers.
About The Role
You will assist with residential and light commercial solar PV (and battery) installations, learning all aspects of solar electrical work while working towards completing your electrical apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with installation of solar PV systems and battery storage solutions
* Support qualified electricians with electrical wiring and system connections
* Roof work including panel mounting and cable runs
* Assist with testing, commissioning, and fault finding
* Follow all WHS requirements and Solahart safety procedures
* Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
* Deliver professional and respectful service to customers
Essential Requirements
* Currently a 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice
* Genuine interest in solar and renewable energy
* Current White Card
* NSW Driver's Licence (or working towards)
* Ability to work at heights and perform manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
* Strong safety awareness
Desirable (not Essential)
* Previous experience on solar installations
* Working at Heights certification
* Basic understanding of solar systems or electrical standards
