Your leadership in coordinating maintenance, compliance, and asset planning will help deliver homes that support stability and dignity. What You'll Do
In this key leadership role, reporting to the Executive Manager Housing & Impact you will:
* Lead the coordination and delivery of Bric's asset maintenance, upgrades and compliance programs aligned to the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
* Maintain oversight of property condition, lifecycle planning, and asset performance to ensure tenants live in safe, well-maintained homes.
* Build strong, effective relationships with contractors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to drive high-quality outcomes.
* Provide expert advice on residential asset issues, compliance requirements, safety standards, and planned maintenance strategies.
* Support a positive, high-performance culture centred on safety, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to organisation-wide projects and system improvements, including active participation in the business system upgrade currently underway, with significant involvement required over the next 12 months to ensure asset management processes, data, and reporting are effectively embedded in the new system.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who brings a mix of technical insight, people leadership, and a genuine commitment to community impact:
* Experience in community housing, residential asset management, or a similar environment.
* Strong understanding of building maintenance, construction processes, and compliance requirements (e.g., safety, fire, regulatory standards).
* The ability to engage, coordinate, and supervise contractors while maintaining strong working relationships.
* Clear communication skills and the confidence to influence, problem-solve, and manage competing priorities.
* Tertiary or trade qualifications in building, construction, asset management, or significant experience in a related sector.
* A positive, resilient mindset with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable tenants and diverse communities.
