About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Nursing and Midwifery & Consumer Experience team as a Registered Nurse /Midwife, where you will be responsible for:
* Delivering person-centred nursing/midwifery care, assessing and coordinating individual client needs.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
* Participation in quality improvement and risk minimisation activities to enhance client safety and service effectiveness.
* Providing health education and promote wellness to individuals and community groups.
* Supporting and mentoring students, new staff, and less experienced team members, fostering professional growth
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse, Midwife, or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
* Proven competence in nursing/midwifery practice aligned with professional standards and National Safety and Quality Health Care Standards.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills within multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to prioritise workload, demonstrating creativity, flexibility, and innovation in healthcare settings.
* Solid understanding of legislation, ethical standards, quality improvement systems, and competency frameworks relevant to nursing/midwifery.
