The Role

Supporting an experienced Project Manager and Contract Administrator, you’ll be hands‑on across procurement, financial administration, head contract support, and project reporting, while working closely with the Site Manager and Supervisor.

You’ll operate inside proven systems to help keep the project on track commercially and program‑wise, and you’ll gain exposure to D&C; delivery, design coordination, and client expectations.

It’s a genuine growth role, as the business delivers more $2M ‑ $30M projects across SEQ, you’ll be positioned to step into a full CA remit.

- Procurement packages let on time with clear, accurate scopes
- Subcontractor claims and variations processed correctly and on time
- Budgets, forecasts, and cost reports updated accurately and consistently
- Compliance with BA/DA conditions and internal QA processes
- Strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and site teams
- Clear, early communication with the PM and CA, no surprises
- You take proactive ownership of your workload and lean into learning opportunities

Responsibilities

- Prepare RFQs, scopes, trade comparisons, and letting recommendations
- Support head contract administration including claims, variations, and reporting
- Assist with program tracking and ensure commercial inputs are up to date
- Draft and review subcontractor and supplier documentation for compliance and risk
- Maintain financial registers, budgets, cost forecasts, and cashflow tracking
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
- Help manage QA workflows, BA/DA compliance, and key project documentation
- Contribute to progress reports, design coordination, and PCG support where required
- Provide day‑to‑day commercial and administrative support to the PM, CA, SM, and Supervisor

You

- 2+ years’ experience as a CA or Cadet on $15M+ commercial or multi‑residential projects
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar (desirable)
- Solid understanding of Australian Standard contracts and D&C; delivery
- Confident with procurement, contract admin, financial reporting, and document control
- Comfortable working in Procore, Smartsheets, Excel (or similar platforms)
- Analytical, organised, and commercially aware, you care about the numbers and the detail
- Strong communicator, you’re clear, responsive, and qualified with all stakeholders
- Keen to learn, step up, and grow into a full CA role as the business scales
