This role plays a key part in developing and executing a strategic sales plan to meet and surpass assigned sales targets for gas detection solutions across Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed set sales quotas for gas detection solutions across Australia.

* Bid and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers across various industries, including chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, and utilities.
">
* Determine customer needs and effectively present Industrial Scientific's gas detection solutions as the best fit for their safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
">
* Manage a network of distributors and channel partners, ensuring successful promotion and sales of our products.
">
* Deliver impactful sales presentations and technical seminars to educate potential and existing customers on the benefits of our gas detection systems.
">
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in various Australian industries, including oil & gas, mining, chemical, manufacturing, and utilities.
">
* Negotiate and close subscription contracts with new and existing customers, ensuring adherence to company pricing and sales policies.
">
* Regularly travel within Australia to meet with customers and attend industry events.
">
* Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, application engineering, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
">
* Participate in sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows to promote Industrial Scientific's gas detection solutions and build brand awareness.

* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Australian market dynamics, gas detection regulations, and competitor landscape.

* Utilize CRM and other sales tools effectively to track sales activity, generate reports, and forecast future sales performance.

* Contribute to the development of sales strategies and ensure alignment with company objectives and ethical codes of conduct.

* Provide ongoing technical and application support to customers, ensuring they leverage the full potential of our gas detection solutions.

* Prepare insightful sales reports and forecasts to support regional and national sales goals.

Qualifications:

Required (Non-Negotiable)

* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.

* Minimum 5 years of successful experience in B2B sales, preferably within the industrial safety or gas detection industry.

* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.

* Strong understanding of gas detection technologies and their applications.
">
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
">
* Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners at all levels.

* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
