As a centre Director and Assistant Director/Educational Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality educational and care programs provided to children and families.
Key Responsibilities
• Focus on growth of the centre with children, families and recruitment
• Create a positive work culture and community
• Develop and implement high-quality education and care programs
• Foster strong relationships with families, children, staff and external stakeholders
• Prioritise, problem solve and have impeccable time management skills
Requirements
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher
• At least 3 years previous experience in management of a long day care service
• Experience in opening a new centre (bonus but not necessary)
• Experience in Montessori (bonus but not necessary)
• Strong people skills and ability to positively manage and support families and educators
• Leadership skills with the ability to lead by example, set realistic expectations and support staff through their own journeys
• Knowledge of systems including KIMS, ARRIVALS, NQAITS, PRODA, KIS and portals affiliated with these
• Ability to navigate funding and work within deadlines for applications and related tasks
• Experience in rostering, staff management, recruitment and retaining staff in creative ways
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to form strong relationships with families, children, staff and external stakeholders
