About the role
Reporting to the General Manager of Car Loans, in this role you will lead a team of credit assessors, while ensuring applications are reviewed in a compliant and timely manner. Provide individual and tailored mentoring to the Credit team and offer support where required. Assist the sales team and deliver feedback to improve application quality and identify decline trends. Liaise with key stakeholders, the collections, sales and brokers, and monitor new deal flow and applications when required.

About you
Ideal candidates will have team leadership exposure, and demonstrated experience in credit assessment roles, particularly in the non-bank sector and within asset finance. Over 5 years of experience in consumer credit is preferred, while demonstrated experience working with a broker portfolio is welcome. To succeed in this role, you will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance laws.
