Position Overview
Permanent part‐time (0.6 FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026 at the Department of Education WA – Westminster WA.

Westminster Education Support Centre (ESC) provides a safe, friendly, student‐focused learning environment with programs designed to develop students academically, socially and emotionally. We share a campus with Westminster Primary School, giving students opportunity for integration and inclusion through whole‐school activities and mainstream classes.
The Role
The Student Support Coordinator supports student wellbeing, engagement and attendance, focusing on students at educational risk. Key responsibilities include:
* Provide individualised case management and coordinate internal and external support services.
* Work closely with students, families, staff and relevant agencies to develop and monitor wellbeing and engagement programs.
* Analyse attendance and program data to identify trends and advise on strategies that improve participation.
* Respond to enquiries from parents and community members about engagement concerns.
* Lead and mentor allied professional staff within the student services team.
* Establish effective partnerships, agreements and protocols with support and employer agencies to enhance outcomes for identified students.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must be:
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
* Hold a valid Working With Children Check before commencing.
