Leading Hand Return Vehicle Representative
As a Full Time Leading Hand you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest level of customer service by providing fleet in line with business demand for the Airport and downtown locations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the depot facility. You will be based at our Hobart Airport location, working closely with the on-site Fleet & Maintenance Co‐ordinators, Supervisors, Detailers, FOH and car park staff to ensure the smooth turnaround of fleet. You will also liaise with our City location to provide them with suitable vehicles on any given day.
Specific duties include:
* Drive productivity and company high standard of customer service and maintain adequate supply of vehicles in ready‐to‐rent area and in rentable condition
* Manage all vehicle return operations
* Ensure company standard operating procedures are adhered to
* Ensure vehicle counts are reconciled at every shift and monitor & control re‐fuelling activities to ensure maximum fuel recoveries
* Assist fleet requirements and movement with downtown networks
* Support the downtown networks with delivery of vehicles and ensure vehicles in a rentable condition
* Protect and maintain company assets and equipment
* Ferry, collect, deliver, re‐fuel and audit vehicle cleanliness
* Train and supervise Instant Return Representatives
What do we need from you?
* Ability to supervise a team in a high‐volume business (previous experience preferred)
* Initiative and desire to drive execution
* Flexibility of working hours (Shift work including weekends and public holidays apply)
* You must hold a full and current AU driver's licence with the ability to drive automatic vehicles
