RediMed has expanded into Queensland! As such, we are seeking a Medical Practitioner with an Occupational Health interest to join our team in our brand new, modern, fully equipped practice in Mackay.

RediMed is an end-to-end Occupational Healthcare service supporting businesses and their workers. We aim to ensure all workers go home to their loved ones safe and well every night! We do this by offering a full range of health services including:
* Pre-Employment Medicals
* Health Surveillance and monitoring
* Injury Treatment
* Rapid Medical Intervention (including surgery)
* Drug and Alcohol testing
Our teams are multidisciplinary with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership to ensure that our customers receive the best care possible.
The Role
The Medical Practitioner will complete pre-employment medicals (including coal board medicals) and provide medical management for workplace injuries. You will have an opportunity to work closely with our specialists, including Dr Hanh Nguyen, our CEO and plastic surgeon.
Our new medical practitioner will be provided with:
* Attractive remuneration.
* Full induction and training.
* Flexible working hours
* Operate Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm.
* Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
You will be required to hold:
* Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
* Ideally Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board Medical) qualification (or a willingness to complete this training).
* Medical Indemnity insurance.
* Valid National Police Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality occupational healthcare services to workers in keeping with best practice standards.
* Assess potential workers before they commence employment. This includes verifying their medical history and conducting a basic medical examination following a standard template. A risk assessment is completed and recommendations are provided to the employer regarding the potential workers’ suitability for the proposed role.
* Medically manage workplace injuries to ensure return-to-work-outcomes are achieved effectively and efficiently.
