Role Responsibilities
* Draft timely, accurate, and concise briefs and advice on Pacific policing for senior executives, government partners, and other key stakeholders.
* Build and foster collegiate networks with government partners to advance the organization's objectives.
* Mentor and guide team members in developing policy advice that aligns with the organization's strategic direction.
* Support requirements associated with secretariat, project management, and budget responsibilities related to government-funded programs and projects.
* Assist in developing corporate and strategic priorities for Pacific Command that align with the broader organizational strategy.
* Prepare briefing materials to support the organization's advice to government, engagement in parliamentary processes, and responses to media inquiries.
* Support a high-performing team through individual career development and succession planning.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering strategic advice for senior executives and governments, as well as a proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing people. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a cross-cultural setting.
