They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their high-performing team and ensure seamless logistics operations during peak and off-peak seasons.
About the Role: This is a permanent full-time Warehouse Manager opportunity based in Dandenong South, offering stability, leadership development, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment with a friendly and supportive team.
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing a team of 12-16 staff, and ensuring timely dispatch of 120-130 orders per day to retail customers.
Your focus will be on team leadership, inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:00pm (start at 6:50am, finish at 3:15pm) Remuneration: $85,000 - $95,000 + Super Additional Benefits: Mobile phone, laptop provided, Annual & Sick Leave Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage dispatch, receiving, inventory, and returns operations.
Coordinate daily picklists, same-day shipments, and freight manifests.
Supervise a team of permanent and casual warehouse staff including 2x Team Leaders.
Liaise with freight carriers and manage costs effectively.
Oversee stocktake processes and maintain high inventory accuracy across 2,000-4,000 SKUs.
Ensure efficient receipting of goods and inbound prioritisation.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings to communicate tasks, KPIs, and achievements.
Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness standards, and promote a positive team culture.
Act as keyholder for the site and be available for occasional alarm callouts.
Operate within and improve WMS systems (NetSuite) and digital dashboards.
Collaborate across departments including Sales and Operations.
Occasionally assist with manual unloading (15-20kg items) during container arrivals.
Qualifications and Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar warehouse leadership or management role.
Valid LF Forklift License.
First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Victorian Driver's License.
Strong computer literacy (email, dashboards, WMS/RF Scanning).
Experience with warehouse management systems (preferably NetSuite).
Excellent time management, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
A hands-on leader with strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.
Exposure to high-volume order fulfilment environments (retail/e-commerce) is highly regarded.
Familiarity with major retail supply chains (desirable but not essential).
Additional Requirements: Must be comfortable undergoing a Police Check and Pre-employment Medical.
Willing to undergo a drug and alcohol screening if required.
