About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Support Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of human resources and workplace health and safety functions across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
•Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
•Providing guidance on HR policies, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
•Supporting staff wellbeing by promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace
•Leading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organisational culture
•Promoting a safety-first culture through WHS audits, risk assessments, and incident management
•Managing workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
What You’ll Bring
•Tertiary qualifications in HR, WHS, Business or related field, and/or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
•Demonstrated understanding of employment and safety legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, NES, WHS legislation, and Modern Awards.
•Strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to influence and connect meaningfully across diverse teams and leadership levels.
•Proficiency in HRIS platforms (preferably Employment Hero) and Microsoft Office.
•Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and sound judgment.
Essential Requirements
•Current National Criminal History Certificate (less than 3 years old).
•Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Blue Card.
