This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and cost control. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and operate a small but busy kitchen (dinner service only) Hands-on preparation and cooking of meals Manage food and payroll costs within budget Supplier ordering and stock control Monthly stocktakes and reporting Menu planning and development Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness Lead and mentor a small team (1–2 staff) Ensure WHS and food safety compliance General kitchen and equipment cleaning Additional duties as required What You’ll Bring: Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef (preferred) Strong leadership skills with a team-first attitude Ability to thrive in a remote and self-sufficient environment Flexibility, adaptability, and a sense of adventure!
